Privacy Policy

In short: JustPOS stores all your business data locally on your device. We collect nothing. We track nothing. Your data never leaves your phone or tablet.

1. Introduction

JustPOS ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use the JustPOS mobile application (the "App").

JustPOS is designed as a local-first, offline-first point-of-sale system. We believe your business data belongs to you.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect any data. JustPOS operates entirely on your device.

Data Stored on Your Device

JustPOS stores the following data locally on your device only:

Shop information — shop name, currency, receipt settings
Product catalog — item names, prices, categories, images, variation templates (size, temperature, sweetness, etc.)
Transaction records — order history, items, quantities, amounts, payment methods, discounts, table numbers
Sales reports — daily/weekly/monthly analytics, top-selling items, payment method breakdown
App settings — theme (Light/Dark/Warm Light), language (EN/TC/SC/JA), custom payment methods

This data never leaves your device. We have no servers, no cloud storage, and no backend infrastructure. JustPOS has no way to access your data. You can delete all data at any time using the "Clear All Data" feature in Settings.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
Payment information (credit card numbers, bank details) — handled by Apple In-App Purchase
Location data
Contacts or address book
Photos or media files (unless you explicitly save a receipt)
Browsing history
Usage analytics or tracking data
Crash reports

3. App Permissions

JustPOS requests the following permissions. None of these permissions are used to collect data:

4. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage

All data is stored using Apple's native storage mechanisms on your device:

UserDefaults — app settings and preferences
Documents directory — CSV data files and exported reports

No data is transmitted to external servers at any point.

Local Network Sync

JustPOS supports local network sync via Bonjour (mDNS) for devices on the same Wi-Fi network. This synchronization happens entirely within your local network — no data is transmitted over the internet.

Data Retention

Your data remains on your device until you choose to delete it. You can delete all data at any time via Settings → Clear All Data. We have no ability to access, retrieve, or delete your data remotely.

5. Data Export

JustPOS allows you to export your data in two formats:

CSV export — complete data export for spreadsheet analysis
PDF export — sales reports for tax filing and record-keeping

Exports are generated locally and shared via Apple's system share sheet (AirDrop, Email, iCloud Drive, etc.). You are solely responsible for the security of exported files once they leave your device.

6. Third-Party Services

Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit)

JustPOS uses Apple's StoreKit for subscription management. Apple handles all payment processing. JustPOS does not collect, store, or have access to your payment information.

Bluetooth Printers

JustPOS connects to receipt printers via Bluetooth. Data is transmitted directly between your device and the printer. No data is sent through external services.

No Other Third-Party Services

JustPOS does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, Crashlytics, or any other third-party data collection service.

7. Advertising and Data Selling

No Ads — JustPOS does not display third-party advertisements
No Data Selling — We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party
No Tracking — We do not collect behavioral data for advertising purposes

8. Children's Privacy

JustPOS is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

Access — all data is visible within the app
Export — export your data as CSV or PDF at any time
Delete — use "Clear All Data" in Settings to remove everything
No account required — JustPOS works without any account or login

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
